Datawrapper
Drop in your data and in a couple of minutes you have a chart that looks like it came from a major newspaper.
Datawrapper is a web app for creating charts, maps and tables, built by a German team and used daily by newsrooms like The New York Times, Reuters and The Washington Post. It is made for journalists, newsletter writers and content creators who need to present numbers clearly without wrestling with Excel or complex design tools.
It works simply: you add your data (paste from a spreadsheet, upload a CSV or link a source), pick a visualization type, and the tool walks you through the tweaks step by step. Along the way you see a live preview of how the chart looks on mobile and web, and it automatically watches over label readability and color-blind friendly palettes.
You then publish your finished chart or map and embed it anywhere via an embed code, or export it as an image for a newsletter, a presentation or print. There is a full library of chart and map types, custom colors and styles, plus team collaboration with comments.
