The Entertainer

The Entertainer is a British family toy retailer built on the concept of a smaller, community-focused family toy shop. The assortment is carefully curated, pairing major licensed brands with value-priced lines, while the shop itself works as a place of experience: toy demos, hands-on play and seasonal events known as "in-store theatre". The ambition is to be the toyshop in your town that families enjoy coming back to.

As a franchisee you get a licence to the brand and a proven store format, plus access to a broad multi-brand range through centralised buying. HQ supplies store-design and fit-out blueprints, planograms and seasonal playbooks, training in retail operations, inventory and team management, marketing frameworks and systems for in-store and online sales. You secure and fit out the unit, hire and run the local team, manage day-to-day trading and stock to the brand's standards and adapt to the local market within the franchisor's guardrails. International expansion runs through HQ's franchise programme; however, the brand has no stores in Czechia or Slovakia and does not list these markets among its targets.
