Komandor

Komandor is a Polish manufacturer of sliding-door systems, fitted wardrobes, walk-in closets, kitchens and made-to-measure furniture with a long history in this category. Its strength rests on vertical integration: Komandor manufactures its own sliding-door profiles, panels and hardware and pairs them with proprietary design-and-quote software. That lets a local partner sell, configure and install a fully branded, factory-produced product without owning a single machine, production line or warehouse. Unlike most Polish brands in the catalogue, Komandor has a presence here too — operating in Czechia through its own subsidiary and in Slovakia via an authorised partner network.

This is not a rigid single-format franchise but a manufacturer-led network of dealers and business partners. HQ supplies the products and materials, the brand, proprietary design and ordering software (from a simpler sales version up to professional tools including a dedicated kitchens module), free training in product, software and installer certification, marketing support for local and nationwide campaigns, starter kits with samples and materials, and showroom fit-out on preferential terms. You run the local end of the funnel: acquiring customers, measuring, designing in the software, placing orders to the factory and installing — yourself or via a certified assembly crew. Entry tiers vary: from a business partner who can operate even without a showroom, up to an authorised dealer with their own branded showroom and full service including installation.
