Headquarters provides the brand, the product range and central purchasing and logistics, help finding and securing the location including negotiating favourable lease terms, the full store-design and fit-out project with on-site build supervision, the equipment and fixtures (including the IT/computer hardware, which effectively offsets the joining fee), the unified pricing and promotion policy, staff training, and ongoing support from the sales and visual-merchandising teams plus a regional manager after opening. You bring local market knowledge, the leased premises, the fit-out investment and working capital, recruit and manage the store team, and run day-to-day operations to the brand's standards under a fixed-term agreement.
