Opus Clip

Opus Clip is an AI tool for video repurposing - it takes your long-form video (a podcast, interview, webinar, or stream) and automatically turns it into short vertical clips for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. It is built by the company of the same name that specializes in clipping long videos, and it is made mainly for content creators, podcasters, and marketers who do not have hours to spend in an editor.

It works simply: you paste a link to a video from YouTube, Google Drive, Zoom, or upload your own file, and the AI goes through the entire recording. It finds the strongest moments on its own, builds them into coherent short clips, adds dynamic captions, and shows you a virality score for each clip that estimates how likely it is to grab your audience.

Beyond the cutting itself, Opus Clip can reframe the video to vertical and keep the speaker centered, add relevant B-roll footage, generate captions in more than twenty languages, and schedule the finished clips for publishing. You can download the result or export it to Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve if you want to fine-tune the edit by hand.
