Descript

Descript is an American video and podcast editor that flips editing on its head: instead of dragging clips on a timeline, you work with an automatic transcript of the speech as if it were a document. It's built for podcasters, YouTubers, educators and marketers who want to edit fast even if they aren't professional editors.

You record or import audio or video and Descript automatically transcribes it into text. When you delete a word or sentence from the transcript, it disappears from the recording too — editing happens by changing the text. The Overdub feature also creates a clone of your voice, so a fix or a newly written sentence can be spoken in your own voice without sitting back down at the mic.
