Storebox

Storebox is an Austrian take on urban self-storage — storage units 'around the corner', within walking distance of home or business, rather than in a hall on the edge of town. A customer picks and books a unit online in minutes, pays by card, and gets in at any hour thanks to their own access code — no reception desk, no opening hours, no waiting. What sets it apart from classic storage is full digitalization: the premises are monitored by CCTV, stored items are covered by insurance, and the whole customer relationship runs online. The network operates in multiple European countries; it has no locations in Czechia or Slovakia yet, but the head office lists Czechia among the markets where it offers the franchise.

As a franchisee you get a license to the brand from the parent company, Storebox Holding, and above all a finished digital platform — a booking system, online payments, access management, and automated processes that run centrally. Help with finding and assessing a location, planning, technical integration, online and offline marketing, an assigned advisor, and an internal system with round-the-clock support come with it. You don't need to own the real estate — the head office will help you find a space or assess one you already have. What stays on you is leasing the premises, funding the conversion into units, and keeping the location humming — cleaning, small repairs, and local visibility. You need no permanent staff on site; the operation is unattended.
