RaktárBox is a Hungarian network of self-storage facilities where the entire rental happens online — the customer picks a unit on the website, pays, and gets an access code right away. The facility runs with no reception and no staff: entry is guarded by a smart access system with cameras, and questions are handled by automated customer support, so you drop off or pick up your things whenever it suits you. It differs from classic storage with an office and opening hours in that you wait for no one — it works like an e-shop, except what you rent is space.

As a franchisee you get the brand, the booking and payment platform, the smart-access and camera-surveillance technology, AI-powered customer support, and the know-how for dividing a space into units and getting the facility running — all from the RaktárBox head office. Your responsibility is the property itself — owned or leased — its conversion into storage units, insurance, light maintenance and cleaning, and supporting demand in the area. In technology and sales it's a model close to turn-key, but the condition and fit-out of the space stay with you.
