Ministerstwo Śledzia i Wódki
A themed gastro-pub steeped in nostalgic communist-era Poland, where a guest walks into a „ministry“ devoted to marinated herring, vodka and bar food.
Ministerstwo Śledzia i Wódki („Ministry of Herring and Vodka“) is a Polish chain of themed gastro-pubs built on nostalgia for communist-era (PRL) Poland. The whole concept rests on a recognizable brand: nostalgic period decor, a comic „official ministry“ framing in which the operator becomes a „Minister,“ and a tight, value-priced menu of marinated herrings, vodka shots, snacks and bar food. It turns an ordinary pub into an experience and a naturally shareable social-media destination — complete with signature in-house infusions and flavoured vodkas that customers associate with the name.
The franchisee runs and owns a single venue, while HQ supplies a turnkey brand system: know-how and proven operating procedures, help with site selection and fit-out, proprietary recipes and menu, staff training, pre-opening support, marketing and promo campaigns, and ongoing assistance with operations and staff management, essentially every day. The interior design isn't a cookie-cutter template — HQ allows you to adapt it to the specific city and space. The operator handles the day-to-day: hiring and managing staff, service quality, stock, and food-safety (HACCP) compliance.
