Löwengrube is an Italian chain of Bavarian beer halls and restaurants that brings the Munich beer-hall atmosphere to the Italian market — long tables, beers from Munich breweries such as Löwenbräu, Spaten, or Paulaner, and a kitchen built on pretzels, Bavarian sausages, and roast pork knuckle, rounded out with dishes closer to Italian taste. It differs from an ordinary restaurant or pizzeria in that it doesn't sell just a meal but a whole evening in the style of a Bavarian festival — with music, liter mugs, and a long table people celebrate around. The concept was born in Italy and has always assumed the Bavarian experience must work for the Italian guest: portions, service, and the rhythm of the evening are tuned to that.
