Logis Hotels

Logis Hotels is a voluntary chain (chaîne volontaire) of independent, mostly family-run hotels and hotel-restaurants built around regional character, a warm personal welcome and home-made cooking from local, seasonal produce. The crucial difference is that the operator keeps full ownership and independence of their property — pricing, decor, renovation and day-to-day management stay in their hands — while gaining the visibility, booking power and trust of a recognised collective brand. The portfolio is segmented into several sub-brands (a flagship hotel-restaurant tier, plus contemporary urban, city-centre economy, country inn, upscale "distinctive" and heritage châteaux lines), so each property can be classified and marketed to fit its level.

This is an affiliation (membership) model, not a tightly controlled franchise. The operator must already run a registered accommodation business with hospitality services; admission runs through an on-site audit, a classification estimate against the network's quality grid, an administrative file and approval by an affiliation committee. Headquarters provides the brand and quality label, central reservation and distribution channels at a deliberately low commission versus mainstream OTAs, a guest loyalty programme, a property/booking system and member extranet, a training academy, marketing and PR, group purchasing advantages and an annual quality-and-commercial advisory visit. The operator runs the property, funds and maintains the building to the network's standards, delivers the on-site experience (welcome, rooms, restaurant) and sets their own rates.
