HeroVR

HeroVR (operating publicly as Arena VR) is a Polish free-roam virtual-reality entertainment concept: unlike single-seat booths where you play sitting in a chair, it is a dedicated physical arena in which a small group of players wearing wireless headsets move and walk freely through a shared real-world space. Players cooperate inside multiplayer game worlds — action shooters, VR escape rooms and family-friendly adventure titles — in sessions ranging from a quarter of an hour to a full hour. What sets it apart is the emphasis on untethered, walk-around co-op play for several simultaneous players.

The network currently only has units in Polish cities; it does not operate in Czechia or Slovakia and does not advertise licences there. For the operator it is a turnkey franchise: the head office supplies the VR hardware (headsets, PC, networking equipment) and its installation, a proprietary software platform with a management portal and booking system, a licensed library of games and escape rooms with free updates, the brand, marketing materials and joint campaigns, staff training, ongoing technical support and territorial exclusivity in a radius around each unit.
