Doskoi

Doskoi is a Polish-born network of casual Japanese restaurants, founded by a Japanese restaurateur on home-style Japanese cooking rather than the usual sushi-and-ramen formula. What sets it apart is a tight, accessible menu of donburi rice bowls, udon noodles and Japanese curry, served fast and affordably. It pairs that with an active social-media presence and a 'taste of real Japan' positioning that gives the brand an identity most local Asian eateries lack. The network is currently small and operates exclusively in Poland — it has venues in several Polish cities, none in Czechia or Slovakia, and does not offer local licences there, although it speaks of an ambition to grow in Europe.
