You operate two-sided marketplace: on one side small farmers, vintners, livestock keepers and cheese makers with surplus, cosmetically imperfect vegetables or overstock. On other side consumers in the area seeking quality local food at fraction of normal price. Pickup points are at petrol stations, chemist shops or directly on farm.
A third of all fruit and vegetable harvest in the UK never reaches consumer due to cosmetic defects or overproduction. Farmers either throw it away or sell cheaply to processors. Simultaneously a growing group of people seek local food beyond supermarkets but has nowhere to source it without long farm visits.
