This business rests on small-batch production of crunchy snacks made with insect flour — cricket or mealworm — bought from one of the few certified farms that survived the industry shake-out. It is not an entry into a growing market: major European producers went insolvent or into restructuring, and food manufacturers' appetite for insect ingredients has largely evaporated. The realistic model is direct sales to curious customers — gift packs, festivals, corporate events and tastings — at a premium price paid for novelty and story, not for grams of protein.
