Home Office Ergonomic Assessment: Prevention Your GP Won't Prescribe
Remote workers suffer from back and neck pain. A certified specialist assesses their workstation and recommends specific, actionable changes.

A home office ergonomic assessment is a paid professional service in which a certified specialist โ a physiotherapist, ergonomist or occupational therapist โ visits the client's workplace, evaluates the workstation setup and produces a detailed report with recommendations. The service covers monitor height, chair adjustment, keyboard and mouse position, lighting and overall layout. The deliverable is a written report with photographic evidence and specific improvement steps. The model is built on a per-assessment fee, with the option to offer paid re-assessments after changes have been implemented.
Most people only address back pain when they're forced to visit their GP or a physiotherapist. Until then, they work with a poorly positioned monitor, a desk at the wrong height, or a chair that is gradually damaging their spine. Home offices are not subject to any workplace health and safety inspection.
๐Remote working continues to grow in the UK
According to ONS data, the share of workers in the UK who work from home at least part of the week has grown substantially since 2020 and shows no signs of reversing. Every new remote worker is a potential client who has never had a professional assessment of their workstation.
