Temporis is a French network of staffing agencies that supply companies with temporary workers and also help recruit for permanent roles. For a client company that means shifts covered fast and a flexible workforce; for a job seeker, a personal approach and work without a long search. It differs from the big corporate chains in the sector by standing on franchising: every agency is run by an independent entrepreneur rather than an appointed manager, and with this model the network blazed the trail for franchising in staffing.

As a franchisee you get a license to the brand, proven processes for recruiting and serving companies, a software platform covering contracts, temp payroll, and invoicing, and — crucially — a legal framework for the heavily regulated temporary-work sector, plus training and marketing support from the head office. What stays on you is the office and its fit-out, building a small team of consultants, developing relationships with local companies and a pool of candidates, and the daily operations.
