Piko24

Piko24 is a Polish autonomous convenience store concept with no checkouts and no staff on site. A compact unit stays open non-stop: shoppers enter, take products off the shelves and walk out, and payment happens without staff. According to the brand, the system rests on Polish technology that fuses artificial intelligence, camera surveillance and weight sensors on the shelves to track what each customer takes. That removes checkouts, queues and staff shifts. The network currently operates in Poland; it has no representation in Czechia or Slovakia.

From a partner's point of view it is a deliberately passive model that inverts the classic franchise. HQ supplies the store and its technology, helps with site selection and assessment, handles the launch, restocking and logistics, remote monitoring and ongoing operational support, and helps arrange lease financing. The partner puts up the upfront investment and may propose a plot they own or control — but does not run the unit day to day and has ongoing access to its performance data.
