Piko24

Piko24 is an autonomous convenience store concept with no checkouts and no staff on site. A compact prefabricated pavilion stays open non-stop, and shoppers enter via a mobile app, take products off the shelves and simply walk out — payment happens automatically. At its core is Polish-built artificial intelligence that fuses computer-vision cameras with weight sensors on the shelves (the Shelfio system) to track exactly what each customer takes. That removes checkouts, queues and on-site staff.

From a partner's point of view it is a deliberately passive model that inverts the classic franchise. HQ supplies the pavilion and its full technology stack, sources and arranges the location, handles restocking and logistics, cleaning, technical maintenance, round-the-clock remote monitoring and the shopper app itself, and helps arrange lease financing. The partner puts up the upfront investment and may propose a plot they own or control — but does not run the unit day to day.
