In the franchise model the operator invests the capital and runs daily operations, staff and the guest experience, while head office supplies the brand license, location scouting and approval, full architectural and interior design to a fixed standard, fit-out and equipment sourcing at favorable (zero-margin) pricing, recipes and the central supply of chocolate and key products, staff recruitment support and training, marketing and seasonal campaigns, IT/POS setup, and a dedicated opening team plus ongoing oversight from a regional manager and a quality manager.
