Leonidas is a heritage Belgian chocolatier that sells fresh pralines and ballotins (gift boxes) through a dense network of dedicated chocolate boutiques. As the operator, you offer accessible Belgian luxury: fresh chocolate made from pure cocoa butter at approachable prices and by the piece, so customers build their own assortment. The brand is family-owned, recognisable and, thanks to its title as a supplier to the Belgian royal court, gives your shop a trusted name in a category where unknown sellers struggle to stand out.

The franchise works as an unusual "soft franchise": HQ charges no entry fee, no royalties and no advertising fees, earning instead on the wholesale margin of the chocolate it supplies. As a contractual partner you find and fit out the location, fund the build-out and fixtures, hire and run the staff and the day-to-day shop, and buy product through the central supply chain or the country's master franchisee. HQ provides the brand, recipes and continuously-replenished fresh product, store concepts and fit-out specifications, free initial training in theory and practice, an assigned mentor, central sales support, and national promotions and sampling. In Czechia and Slovakia, the brand is represented by a local partner, through whom negotiations for a new store are also conducted.
