illiCO travaux

illiCO travaux is a French network for brokering and coordinating building work — a field the French call 'courtage en travaux'. The franchisee works as a project manager between the client and the trades: they walk through the renovation or construction inquiry on site, take it to vetted partner companies, compare their quotes, and then accompany the chosen project all the way to handover. The client no longer has to ring around individual trades and keep an eye on them alone, while the craftsmen receive prepared, clearly defined jobs. Unlike a building company, the concept builds nothing with its own hands — it sells preparation, quote comparison, and oversight.

As a franchisee you get from the illiCO travaux head office a license to the brand, individual training and coaching in the whole methodology — from qualifying an inquiry through selecting partner companies to running a project — access to a network of vetted trade partners, preparation of a business plan and market analysis for your territory, and an assigned regional network manager who is available to you even after launch. Your responsibility is the commercial work in the field: building a circle of reliable trade companies in your region, winning clients, driving out to site visits, negotiating, and overseeing the projects in progress. There are no big premises to worry about — a small office or a desk at home, a car, and a phone are enough; the 'turn-key' part is the methodology and the back office, while the selling is yours to do.
