ERA (Electronic Realty Associates) is one of the oldest and largest international residential real-estate brokerage franchise brands. It operates as a network of locally owned, independently run agencies that share a common brand, technology platform and client-referral system. ERA pioneered the franchised real-estate model and still builds on a connected, technology- and marketing-led approach to brokerage.

At the national level a franchisee opens and runs a single branded agency (not a country master). The national headquarters provides the brand licence, a structured onboarding and integration program, an in-house academy and business university for agents and the owner, a CRM and intranet platform, listing-distribution and marketing tools, lead-generation systems, ongoing coaching and field support, and help obtaining the regulated professional real-estate licence where required. The operator finds and fits out the local office, recruits and leads a team of agents, builds local market share, wins listings, serves buyers and sellers, and runs the agency's P&L day to day.
