Bagels & Beans is a Dutch chain of daytime cafés where the freshly prepared bagel plays the lead role — sweet or savory, from the smoked-salmon classic to vegetarian combinations — joined by coffee, freshly squeezed juices, and homemade cakes. The concept was born in Amsterdam and deliberately runs against the grain of hurried coffee bars: living-room calm, room to linger, and a terrace where guests happily spend the whole morning. It isn't a restaurant or fast food — more a modern take on the café, where time slows down on purpose.

As a franchisee you get a license to the brand from the Bagels & Beans head office, along with the complete formula and know-how: recipes and the menu, training for you and your team, operating manuals, an interior design that follows the shared concept, and access to centrally negotiated coffee and ingredient suppliers. Head office also helps you find and assess a location and carries the brand's nationwide marketing. What stays with you is the premises and its fit-out, hiring and leading the people, daily operations, and local promotion — a closely guided entry into hospitality, but not a business someone else runs for you.
